About Power Transmission

Bajaj comes with over 15 years of experience in the power transmission segment in India. More than 3000 ckms of transmission lines on turnkey basis and supply of over 240000 MT transmission line towers up to 765 kV line voltage has been executed by this BU. Pioneers of steel monopoles, the Bajaj TLT segment has designed, type tested, manufactured and erected monopoles of 400 kV double-circuit line with a height of 42 m for Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for their project line from Dadri to Ballabhgarh. This was the first one in India. Bajaj is one of the leading companies in the power transmission division. Few notable projects under power transmissions include 765 kV D/C Kudgi Kolhapur Line, 765 kV D/C Kurnool Thiruvalam line and 400 kV multi-circuit line at Vijaywada. With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra, this BU is equipped to manufacture transmission line towers, monopoles and other fabricated structures.
