EPC & Luminaires

This BU of Bajaj Electricals is also making inroads in high-end funded projects for Luminaires, High Masts, Power distribution, Illumination and TLT. The EPC segment has its own world-class manufacturing and galvanizing plant equipped with state-of-the-art machinery for manufacturing of transmission line towers, monopoles, high masts, octagonal poles, conical poles and other fabricated structures.

One of the prestigious projects executed by Bajaj includes the Ministry of Sports in Oman (Saham Sports Club), wherein high mast installation of three football stadiums was done making it future ready for FIFA Under 19 World Cup Tournaments. The project included supplying and commissioning of aviation lights, decorative double-arm poles, octagonal poles, LED and high-bay flood lights. The lux levels for the above were controlled to give the most efficient lighting output and could be changed by the products’ photometric values, reflecting property of the planes and alternating the power supply. Thus players could play in the most efficient and natural form of lighting.

Other notable projects that the BU is proud of associating with includes the Salalah Free Zone in Oman, wherein the BU installed high mast lighting systems; the OWENDO Port City in Gabon, which included design, manufacture, supply and supervision, and commissioning of high mast for New General  Cargo Terminal Project.

The Exports Division has also worked very closely with the Dubai Municipality for erection of 55-metre high Sports Lighting High Mast designed especially for suitable wind speed.
