Responsibilities of the franchisee

  • The showroom will be operated by the Franchisee.
  • The showroom will be owned/rented by the Franchisee.
  • The area of the showroom should be a minimum of 600 sq ft. or more.
  • The location – main/prominent market area with high footfalls.
  • The Franchisee will contribute to the cost of making the showroom as per the BEL pre-approved design (as per terms agreed).
  • The Franchisee must display all the products of BEL as suggested by the company.
  • The Franchisee should have sufficient stock of products to offer on sale for at least one month.
  • The products for display and sale shall be bought by the Franchisee on an immediate payment basis.
  • The Franchisee must sign a contract with BEL and shall pay an advance cheque of Rs 5 lakhs to start the showroom. The advance payment will be adjusted against his/her share of interior, civil cost and the stock for display and sale.
  • The Franchisee must arrange for a godown adjoining the store or at another convenient location to stock the goods.
  • The Franchisee will sell only directly to customers & will not get into distribution.
  • The Franchisee will only sell Bajaj brand products and will not display or sell any other brand’s products.
  • Only Bajaj products shall be marketed and displayed at the showroom.
  • The Franchisee should have a family member or a trained manager to run the showroom.
  • The Franchisee should have the systems and personnel to monitor the sales on a regular basis and share the same with the company.
  • The Franchisee should have a computer and an internet connection available at the showroom.
  • The Franchisee should have sound financial backing to sustain the business.
  • The Franchisee should actively participate in the enterprise to ensure the targeted sales.
  • The Franchisee should maintain the MOP as suggested by the company representatives.
